Former Portside Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow, D. Michael Weston and Acting Town Manager Yanina Nickless, talked to us about the proposal for the new Kennebunkport Town Hall.
Michael and Yanina shared about the visioning process involved in the architectural plans they showed us and joked that Plan A proposed in 2019 ended up being Plan H today.  The need is real with the 60 year old cramped current Town Hall building.  Yanina encourages anyone who has questions about this need to schedule a tour of the building to make up their own mind.  The proposed site for the new Town Hall would be on North Street, across from the Fire Station, the 89 acre Village Parcel the town purchased in 2018 .  We were invited to a Public Hearing that evening at the Kennebunkport Fire Station on North Street (even if not Kennebunkport Residents) and reminded that the election is Nov. 7th, where this will be on the town ballot.
