About the 2023 Kennebunk Rotary Scholarship Raffle
Please join the Kennebunk Rotary Club, the Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, and Arundel Chamber of Commerce, and the Nonantum Resort is supporting out local students through the 2023 Kennebunk Rotary Scholarship Raffle. Tickets are $100, and there are only 300 tickets for a prize of $1000 - you'll not only be helping our students, but your odds are good, too!
About the Drawing
The raffle drawing will be on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Nonantum Resort, Kennebunkport, Maine, as part of a reception co-hosted by Kennebunk Rotary and KKA Chamber of Commerce. The reception is from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and admission is $5 for Chamber/Rotary Member, $10 for Non-Members
Hors D'oeuvres & Cash Bar Drawing to begin at 7:00 pm.
RSVP is required to attend. Please sign up at the KKA Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours registration page. You do not have to be present to win!
About the Scholarship
The Kennebunk Rotary Scholarship Fund will award scholarships to graduating seniors from Kennebunk High School who are residents of Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel. These scholarships are for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the recipients for all types of post-secondary education. Equal attention will be given to students planning on pursuing a 4-year degree, 2-year/community college degree or attending an accredited certificate or technical program.
Recipients will be chosen based on an application demonstrating initiative, contribution to the community, future goals, leadership potential and financial need. Recommendations from teachers/administrators, guidance counselors or employers will also be taken into consideration. A pleasant and friendly committee of Rotary scholarship fund directors may interview applicants.
Children or grand-children of members of the Kennebunk Rotary Club are not eligible for these scholarships.
