Jim Stockman is well known in Kennebunkport; he has lived here for over 50 years.  He runs his own business specializing in lighting design in a multitude of applicsstions.  His lighting career started at age 16, working in theater lighting in NY City. He has many, many credits and credentials to his name.  His first business on Kennebunkport was Cape Hardware in Cape Porpoise, which he later sold to Dicfk Pickering.  He then settlrd into fult-time lighting design for over 50 years.

He is also well known for his volunteer participation in the Wildwood Station of Kennebunkport Fire De[artment, and remains still active in KFD

In 2017, the Dock Square Bridge was sre[lace (see photo).  Jim was tasked with appropriate loghting design for the bridge, and it needed to complimantary with the lighting in the Square.  It's an interesting story.
